So, after installing the patch, I've been unable to launch my game.

The launcher comes up fine and tells me it's going to detect my hardware settings and set my graphics level accordingly as though it's the first time I'm playing. After deciding on either "Medium" or "Low" (It fluctuates :s) I press Play and the launcher vanishes. About a second later it reappears and does the whole graphics level thing again. I can't launch the game no matter how many times I do this and I'm certain it has something to do with the patch. Can anyone help me? :C

I'm having the same problem bro, the game just won't start, I've done everything under the sun to try and fix this. Bethesda is just terrible at this. We just have to be patient and wait until Bethesda stops pretending like they know what they are doing and hope they hire someone who can.

DO you have these 3 files in place?

C:\Users\\Documents\My Games\FalloutNV\fallout.ini

C:\Users\\Documents\My Games\FalloutNV\falloutprefs.ini

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\fallout new vegas\fallout_default.ini
