1.3.10 patch

Post » Mon May 28, 2012 1:21 am

I'm wondering if it is the patch conflicting with a mod or just the patch but when I pause or use my journal the back ground is either shakey or flashing yellow. Not shakey so much as the image being spread out like the rock is drawn 6 times instead of one all spawning out of each other & moving a bit. Hard to explain but anyone else having similar issues? It's not gaming breaking just annoying lol

All I noticed was smoother gameplay and the game is not crashing anymore in areas where it used to for me. No journal issues at all.

Yeah I have a lot better performance as well. I had the 4GB mod so no crashes for me but thanks for the response. Maybe it is just a side effect of a mod with the new patch :(

Try disabling all mods, see if the problem goes away.

If not, try re-verifying your Steam cache.

And if you did any tweaks in CCC or Nvidia Control Panel / Nvidia Inspector, disable them.

This. Sounds like a conflicting mod with the new patch. And definitely update your drivers to the latest beta version.

well I tried uninstalling all mods with nexus mod manager mind with no help but I have found that if I just hit esc like 4 times instead of just once to bring up the menu the background image catches up & becomes a still image like its supposed to be. So I will just use this trick bc I love my mods too much! lol Thanks for the help n support guys. I'll let you know if I find the problem. I have pretty much every visual overhaul mod out there so I'm sure it is one of them. Drivers are from 12/12/11 or when ever AMD updated & I leave all CCC settings at default.

So pretty sure it is my tv. I tried turning triple buffering on n off with no luck. Not sure how to fix it. Doesn't do it at first but after an hour or so it does. It's like the tv forgets to pause everything behind the menus

I have better performance but I am constantly crashing. I wasn't before, so I would assume it is from the 1.3.1 patch or w/e, hopefully it is fixed in the next one.

That's weird bc they opened it up to 4GBs with 1.3.1 so you should crash less often if ever. How much RAM are you running?
