I wish they'd give a little box which detailed what the patches did (in everything, it's not just gamesas/obsidian, I swear no one does it anymore : /)

PS3 1.04 update is now available in Europe and will be live shortly in the US. This adds code support for DLC #1: Dead Money. We are still working on another update that contains additional fixes and changes and will update you soon on that.

AHHHH!!!!! That is awful news! I'm not getting DLC, so why would I get the patch to support something I won't get until the game is fixed??? What the hell man???

Thank you, GStaff. Sad to say that I won't be firing up the PS3 until the upcoming big patch has fixed the game. After I've read here that some things that bother me (Broken Boone) are fixed, then I'll think about DLC. Until then, I can't think about DLC. Again, thanks.

Just fix the FREEZING!!!
My PS3 gets damaged at every freeze.
And that's not the only freezing game that I have. WTH is going on with developers these days :/

include something to get "lost" companiens back, E-DE is lost for me for Ages, and nothing i tried brought him back (Vault22, Primm, Lucky38, Lake Mead Cave, Sleep for a long Time ...) but i still have his perk enabled as if he were with me. And theres no Mapmarker for him on the Map, i guess i lost him @Cesars Fort, but i'm not sure. I'm into more than 120Hours of Playtime and have no Save left when he was with me. But since i regoniced he's gone im not willing to play any further without him, what should i say, i just like him :-)

. And yes, the Freezings also svcks.

the dlc dead money should fix ed-e too cause when elijah kidnapp the courier your companions return to their starting location :spotted owl:

just installed the 1.04 patch, and now R2 and L2 on the controller no longer respond in-game. If I remap VATS and camera shift to other buttons, they will work normally. Restarting the game and/or the PS3 doesn't resolve the problem. This loss of functionality appears to be retroactive to existing saved games as well as newly started games. L2 and R2 still work normally in every game other than F:NV.

Are other people noticing this, or did I somehow grab a corrupted update?

1.04 was quite a failure and success in my game. It freezed after only 10mins (before patch it would be around 1 hour), after restarting it didnt freeze for 3 hours!! But then, after entering a tent, it refused to load. Normally it would take about 1 tips worth, but after, i gave up on around the 5th.

it seems that every game reacts differently to everything. Devs did disappoint.

Patch 1.04 is a fix for Dead money DLC #1. If you don't have the DLC there is no point downloading the patch.

Well obviously no PS3 user will have the DLC until Tuesday.
