Post » Fri Jun 01, 2012 4:13 am

if Skyrim patch version "1.5" the official version that updates automaticly in Steam is working on your Skyrim the PC version game and you have Mods installed and activated and your Skyrim game runs and plays "Smoothly" and "Normaly", please tell me how did you make this possible in game???

It works normally for me. I don't use mods, I let Skyrim generate fresh INIs (delete my current Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini, then run the game).

After verifying the game runs, I slowly added light mods only: unofficial patch, shadow striping fix, fixed eye adaptation etc. Just light fixes, no crazy game-changing mods.

Played a straight 10-hour session with zero CTDs. Fast travel and everything works.

It works fine. I only have 13 mods active right now. No problems at all.

Works fine for me. I have 91 saves and about 10 mods active. No crashes, no problems. Most of my mods are either fixes or textures.

1.5 runs quite smoothly for me. I didn't have to do anything, steam just automatically updated to 1.5. Nothing was 'broken', no FPS drops (in fact I think the game runs better than 1.4 now). I have about 25 texture mods installed along with the unofficial patch and my skyrim game folder is over 15GB in size. The underwater effects are great too :)

My game runs perfectly fine on 1.5 with mods installed. I have 16 mods installed with only 2 major mods that change level caps and perk trees, both of which were updated with 1.5.

I'm loving the new kill cams too.

running fine here also. it's somewhat subtle, but the game is looking nicer all round as well. maybe some little change in the dof or lighting, never the less, it's looking good. great job on the water too.

All good with me, signed up to the Beta immediately as the killcams were too tempting. Running 15 mods or so, mostly texture replacements. No problems, didn't regenerate my .ini files this time round either.

I noticed an improvement in loading times... I actually noticed them before realizing that Steam had stealthy installed another update (without asking, of course <_< )

Works but it also ruins the game completely.

Lots of new CTD's and thats about it. I cant even play the game due to the CTD at the start of the game. GG Bethesda...

i'm going to take back a little of what i said ealier about the game running fine. when i first commented, i was running around the markarth area and doing some dungeon crawls and all was fine; since then i've visited areas around whiterun and riften with lots of grass and trees respectively, and it's a different story. game still looks good mind you, but the framerate hit in these areas are horrific. seems no amount of dumbing down on the settings can seemingly redeem these areas.

With patch 1.4 I had a constant 60 fps (capped). With 1.5 I'm losing between 8-20 fps in the Rift area and it feels very choppy even at 40 fps. I tried disabling mods, no change. Unfortunately, I didn't make a backup of the 1.4 exe since It ran great and I never imagined that a new patch from the developer would turn great performance to :swear: . I did keep a backup of 1.3 though and when I ran the game with that exe it jumped back to a constant 60 fps outdoors in the Rift. Obviously I'm not going to play with 1.3 but since it's impossible to revert to 1.4, I'm stuck with this. RIght now I'm incredibly frustrated. If the fps drop is caused by the grass shadows or some other "feature" that I didn't ask for, for :swear: sake Bethesda, give us the option to turn it off! I rarely post angrily like this but I'm really pissed.

ATI Radeon + new drivers (disabled anti-aliasing & enabled FXAA), Win 7, and only the available mods of Sounds Of Skyrim installed. Ran from Bloodlet Throne to Whiterun, while exploring the region around Helgen and such. Up to now, no problems.

Did a complete install again to remove any old mods with scripts and have everything NMM managed.

78 mods total right now. No conflicts. Have not had any CTD's.

Shadows have always been broken no matter what, but no changes since 1.4.
Other than the new kills.

With ENB v.102 got a fps drop of 10-20. I changed to the ENB injector v.108, tweaked the shadow settings and have now good 50-60 fps. No other problems so far.

1.5 is working decently well for me. No obvious framerate loss--even meandering through the Rift with all those new grass shadows that still really need an off switch--and no game-busting bugs. I just had to make a couple of ini tweaks to fix some truly derptacular shadows. (I swear, every time a patch comes out, Bethesda somehow manages to make the shadows look worse.) Only ~6 mods running plus a few pluginless replacers.

No CTDs, but I haven't had one of those since 1.3 came out, IIRC. Only issue I'm having is that for some reason the animation for books opening (you know, when you pick up a book to read it?) has gotten rather sluggish. I'm not sure where that issue came from, but it only started happening post-1.5.

Yes, I thought there had been something changed in the lighting as well. I started a new char and was exploring Embershard Mine, and it looked somehow different. I eventually concluded that it was the light, or more accurately the darkness. I think unlit areas are darker than they were.

I noticed an improvement in loading times... I actually noticed them before realizing that Steam had stealthy installed another update (without asking, of course  )
Funny, save games seem to take longer to load for me. But that's about my only gripe.

I've got 67 entries in my load order, with the HD textures loaded via the ini file. My saves folder is relatively clean. though. The game runs relatively smoothly - the only slowdown/stutter I've experienced so far was when I first approached Whiterun, but that may be due to WATER and the large number of falls/rapids in the area.

No problems at all on this system, I only have the high res texture packs installed no other mods and running on ultra!
