Take a more distant shot in the shadows, and try a line of sight shot meaning, try to visibly spot your target without being in the line of sight of any other enemies, make sure you have an escape route for when they turn their heads towards the direction of the arrow and start searching.

The other bandits can even be sleeping or on the other side of the building with multiple closed doors but they come rushing me after a one shot kill with 100 stealth crouched with muffle. The patch broke it plain and simple just like the 1.2 patch made dragons fly backwards.......To be honest since the download of 1.5 patch.....I have not seen any Dragons at all.

How do you remove a patch on a console?

You go to dashboard, all the way to the memory settings, click in storage or memory. Press games and look for skyrim. Then delate the patch.

How could someone not know this?

How could someone know that? Not everyone readily knows something that seems obvious to someone, in this case yourself., knowing it and finding no difficulty in locating the area to delete the patch.

Is this true for everyone? Or did the TC just run into a bug? I haven't played the game since the 1.5 patch but this would be a very bad development (and I don't even like the kill cams).

By the sounds of it, they might of FIXED the Archery stealth kills! I always LOL'd when I killed someone with an arrow and the rest of the bandits look for a minute and then say "hmm, I guess it was nothing". Now, it sounds like if one of their own is killed, they will look for you no matter what.

I like it.

That actually would be ok. If they can't see you but decide to look for you as obviously someone is killing them.

However the TC is saying that they automatically know where you are and charge at you. This makes the stealth+archery broken and one of my characters compleetly worthless.

I'm on Xbox playing a stealthy archer and I'm loving the 1.5 patch. At first I didn't notice any difference, but there is a definite improvement. Any shots I have missed have been my own fault for not judging distance on stationary and moving targets well enough, when I'm hitting from stealth I'm one-shotting weaker enemies. The only times I've been charged were in Ansilvund Excavation and they were my own fault because the Draugr saw me. I find it's easier to lure targets with archery now... I really don't know what you're complaining at, but then I suppose the patch hasn't worked perfectly for everyone. I've seen plenty of people that have had problems with it where others haven't.

You win the obnoxious post award. You've outdone yourself for this one.

I hadn't noticed patches listed there with other games, just save games and the installation. Looking in Skyrim I'd noticed a file "Title Update", I guess that's it. I wasn't sure because it's doesn't say something like "1.5 update" or something. That's the only game with any kind of update file. Every other game just has the installation and save games so I assumed the Xbox saved the patches somewhere else.

By the way, thank you for the mature and gracious way you answered my question. You're obviously a hell of a guy and everyone must like you. :goodjob:

And here I was hoping Stealth was actually going to be hard enough to be interesting. Back to snorefest stealth I guess.
