» Sat Jun 02, 2012 5:44 pm So i didn't buy the game until late November and through my browsing this forum i became aware that the update patches made the game ' more risky ' to play because of bugs, glitches and broken quests. So because i purchased the game later than everyone else i decided against downloading the updates for my game.
Up until the weekend i had not encountered anything that could ruin my experience. Sure i had seen a horse somersault through the air once when i exited a cave and an NPC doing a 200 yard moonwalk at mach 2 but nothing majorly ' game-breaking '.
So i play on the xbox 360 and i have not updated through fear of an updated patch ruining my experience. Im now at lvl 49 and ive just ran into my first broken quest. Its a misc quest that i have to kill the bandit leader at uttering hills camp and the camp is empty and the quest marker (where the leader is supposed to be) is pointing to the floor underneath a chair. Ive tried reloading a previous save, exiting and re-entering the camp.... nothing. So my question is.... should i download the 1.3 patch and will this fix the problem ? Or just wait for the 1.4 ?
BTW... Just before getting this quest to kill the bandit leader at uttering hills camp... i had completed the quest for the thieves guild by getting rid of Linwe of the somerset shadows.... also at uttering hills camp.
