Peace treaty or finish civil war?

Post » Tue May 29, 2012 6:32 pm

So I was wondering, from an RP perspective, which would be better: doing the peace treaty between the two factions before capturing the dragon or finishing the civil way questline? The only reason I ask is because I hear finishing the civil war quests allows you to see people in Sovengarde (yeah, the was spoiled for me. Try not to spoil it much more please)

Personally, if I ever get that far, I will opt for peace treaty since I think the civil war is just stupid as a plot device.

And this is the spoilers forum after all....

Right but my question can be answered with minimal spoilers.

I.... well, if you expect most people to not post spoilers herein, I think you're looking for the next rocket to the moon courtesy of Richard Branson. It's the cheats, hints, spoilers forum, and while some people will use the "hide spoiler" option, most won't since they don't see any need to - since the forum's raison d'ĂȘtre is spelled out in its title.

If you don't want full spoilers, you probably shouldn't read herein at all. Good luck though - some people WILL use the "hide spoiler" link....

It's all about your preferences.

You eat, sleep, breathe war, or do you want a unified Skyrim?

I'm still on the fence about it, even though I dislike the Thalmor.

You do realize the war will continue once Alduin is gone right? Might as well get it over with and allow people to gather their strength for a recovery in case Alduin returns.

If you finish the civil war questline, you won't get the peace treaty quest, which as a cutscene I found to be extremely enjoyable (my character, on the other hand, wanted to lock both sides in a room while telling them to enjoy themselves while she went off and 'saved the godsdamned world'.)

Oh.... I LIKE that one!
