I've got a quick question. Did a few missions for the Boomers and got to Accepted or possibly Liked status, I decided to wander off elsewhere. After I popped out of fast travel I got the message Pearl is dead on the screen. The Boomers were now listed as Unpredictable (read that as want to kill me). I saw that Pearl might be needed to finish The House Always Wins, so what I'd like to know is am I going to have to reload an earlier save to finish the game or can I continue on with the Boomers being more nuts than normal?

They are not mandatory for your mainquest to be completed, although it will change the outcome/story if they are not allied to you/your faction.

At least I have a choice in the matter. I assume it's some type of glitch but I'll remember it for next time.
