» Wed Jun 20, 2012 6:48 am Since the release of the creation kit, (Which is what, going on 3 months now) I have been going to no end to try pull a horse into the game that can be ridden and still to this day even after 3months cannot do it. Apparently summons cannot be interacted with at all and you supposedly have to use a placeatme script in order to be able to pull this off but there is a bunch of major issues regarding that so called placeatme script:
There also seems to be some people who do not seem to understand that unless it's programmed into the creation kit as an actual summon, then despite what effect you see on the screen in the game, it's not a summon. But again those people don't know the difference and do not think there is a difference because according to them a summon is summoned regardless, and those people are beyond talking to because they cannot separate placeatme from summon when dealing with modding..again what people try to claim is semantics is in reality them not understanding how there is a crucial difference and it actually does matter and it makes a huge difference. So again for the record, placeatme and summon are not even close to doing the samething despite the effect on the screen in game being exactly the same...Ok now that is out of the way we can move on to the real issues I have regarding this placeatme script people claim they are using:
This is all the oddities revolving around this so called script...you tell me what's wrong with this picture and what would you have a tendency to think:
1. The placeatme script people claim they are using does not turn up in any search engine results (Google, Bing, Ask Jeeves, nothing) You name a search Engine I tried it..the result is nothing every time on all of them
2. No forum anywhere has this placeatmescript listed (It's not in Skyrim Nexus, it's not on Steam, it's not here on Bethesda's forums) It is simply nowhere to be found.
3. I have posted requests for that placeatme script on as many forums that deal with Skyrim (Including here and the topic disappeared)
4. I have asked every person I could find who are supposedly using the placeatme script for it directly, and the result was basically the same answer from everyone, no

6. I have gone so far to download the mods themselves using the script, and it's a cluster screw that cannot be broken down unless you know what you're looking at (Programmers only) and it's basically impossible to replicate.

After doing all that, and going on over 3 months now and still not getting anywhere, I have come to the conclusion that pulling a horse into the game cannot be ridden at all and that some other super secret procedure tat only an elite select few are allowed to know how to do is being used. You cannot seriously tell me this is some bizarre coincidence. Because no matter how that sentence looks to people why has it been this much trouble to get an answer from anyone using it, not be able to locate it anywhere, and just get an answer all around in general.

If all the problems in the first video were addressed like they were supposed to be, then the second video wouldn't need to be made.
Now, as you can clearly see this topic wasn't just thrown up here, I actually spent a lot of time going through all the options with this (Over 3 months to be exact) looking, consulting, and doing, and every single turn was a dead end.
This is one reason why I never bother going to links people leave in topics, all it does is waste people's time. and this is a main reason I get rude to people...For something that people claim they are using, why is it that a 3 month search or asking and doing, nets me no results.
So someone needs to fill in every single gap in these videos
If something needs to be opened then everything about that aspect needs to be explained in every small little detail, if something needs to be entered in somewhere then everything about it including the smallest detail needs to be explained and gone over and examples shown of it's usage.
3 months didn't turn up one thing for me so I'm not going to look at or read anything anymore on this
People always say look for the information on your own and no one will hold your hand...but the fact of the matter on this is that YES someone needs to go over all this and YES someone needs to hold people's hand through every single small little step of the way
because doing it on your own doesn't work like people say it does.
