i was thinking of picking it up, do people still play like aussies ?

I think ps3 has the largest community out of the three and there's a few threads around talking about various chats (I think there was an Aussie one somewhere) so you can find games full of people easier since the matchmaking is still wonky. I would recommend trying it out first if you have a friend that has it, just cause it can be a little hit and miss with some players and the game did ship with some issues. That said some of those issues are being addressed in the next patch as well as the dlc landing at the same time that will be free to download for the first two weeks.
