Perception and VATS

According to the Vault, perception affects VATS accuracy:

Perception's in-game description states that Perception affects shooting accuracy, however this is only in V.A.T.S

The only problem is it doesn't say how much it influences it. Anyone know offhand?

No. Let me go fiddle a bit and I'll see if it does.

Edit: I can unequivicably say that perception has absolutely nothing to do with VATS % chance to hit. Neither does it increase max VATS engagement distance. There you have it.

De nada, amigo. Bitte sch?n, mein Freund. Добро пожаловать, мой друг. 歡迎您,我的朋友

I repeat: I can unequivicably say that perception has absolutely nothing to do with VATS % chance to hit. Neither does it increase max VATS engagement distance. There you have it.

That's just bizarre. I think it was the same in FO3, too, and it didn't make sense. PE was huge in classic FO, and other than for a couple perks and the rare dialogue option, it's pretty much useless in this game. Hopefully this will be a fixed for FO4.
