This is about the 1000000000000th topic on this. Its not going anywhere. The beauty of games like Skyrim is that you must live with your choices. If you want to play a game that has a character respec option, ME3 has that.

You know there is a re-allocation in skyrim. It's called "New Game" you should give it a go.

Disagree 1000%. Perk allocation would be the last F-You to the RPG elements in this game.

Already a discussion on this going on http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1384989-re-spec-option-needed-for-console/.
That topic is only on the second page, another topic is not needed on this.

I kinda wish we had re spec too, to be honest. But it seems the vast majority of people on here don't like the re spec idea. Which is fine (to each his own). But AuraStorm43 is right, there are A LOT of threads about this.

That's why it's not a bad idea to make a new Save file about every four or five levels. That way, you can go back without needing a full restart.

But the best thing to do is not worry about it on your first play-through. It's going to be a learning experience, and mistakes are good teachers.

This is why you prep your character. One of the most important tools for an RPG is
PLAN AHEAD!
I've learned this after many bad character specs in the Zenonia titles.

If you're going to ask for an NPC to reset your perks, it'll have to be a giant.

You know, so he can crush your skull with is giant club and make you forget how to use heavy armor and alchemy. :\

Why do you think guides exist? So people can plan out how to spec their character. I've played RPG's from Bioware RPG's to the Zenonia series, and its something I learned. Hell, you could learn that playing Pokemon!

For some reason I am strangely attracted to this idea...

I think it would be good to be able to redo some perks for a price.

Redo three perks for the price of four. (ie you pay with a perk).

I wish there were MORE irrevocable decisions in character creation. Permanent birth-signs instead of stones, for example.
Pay attention and don't make mistakes next time.
Very true. But even the mistakes are what makes a character unique.

What you need: A clean PC version of Skyrim with no mods, updated to the same patch as your console, a USB, Modio.

*backup your savefile*

Save/Transfer your save file you wish to edit on to your USB, then open it on your PC using Modio, Open from a device-your USB-Skyrim-Savefile, then extract the Savegame.dat to your desktop, rename it to whateveryouwant.ess and put it in your MyGames-Skyrim-Saves folder.
Open the save file up with the PC version of Skyrim, then proceed with the following: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B6txeenvPqg
When you are done, save the file and take that save and rename it to Savegame.dat, open up your original save on Modio *if you closed modio* and replace the old Savegame.dat with the new edited one, resign/rehash/save it.
Transfer your save file over to your Xbox/PS3 and there you have it~

Enjoy~

P.S: This is legal and wont get your account banned.

this is why you use the skyrim perk calculator and plan your characters... also if its early on the game start again it dosnt take long to reach lvl 20.

I hope this is a facetious remark. I love it when people try to be pretentious elitists for whatever reason to stroke their e-ego.
