Perk tree help.

Post » Tue Jun 19, 2012 12:26 pm

I want to modify the perk "Conditioning" for heavy armor so the armor weigh 50% less and not weightless as now, i also want to modify the perk "Unhindered" for light armor so you dont use as much stamina when using power hits with weapons and shield instead. But the thing is that i have no clue what to change in the respective perk, so i would be grateful for any help here.

:thanks:

Look at the perk entries, they are really self-explaining...

Well not rely...for the heavy armor it is now Value = http://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1355381-perk-tree-help/0.00, so if i want it to just reduce the armor wight to 50% shall i then change it to Value = http://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1355381-perk-tree-help/-0.50 or what??
For the light armor i know that i shall have Mod Power Attack Stamina, but what shall i use for Function and what shall i set the Value to and shall i change all 4 Perk Entries or just remove 3 and use only one?

Conditioning:
It multiplies armor weight by that value so it should be +0.50 to decrease armor weight by only 50%.
You can always make a new entry, so use a 5th...

Mod Power Attack Stamina: set value = http://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1355381-perk-tree-help/value * 0.75(will reduce by 25%)
Conditions for it:
Owner -> wornhaskeywordcount lightarmor == 4

Sorry, it must be armorlight not lightarmor and I meant wornapparelhaskeywordcount, yes.
I don't have the CK by my hand till tomorrow, since I'm not at home, but I have made several perks, so I do know how to do it, see my sig link.

Edit: You should mind reverse engineering perk mods or vanilla perks.

Did you apply it on the target, the perk owner or the weapon, you need to on the perk owner(player)

For the heavy armor I think you would actually go and change the function from 'Set Value' to 'Multiply Value' and then change it to 0.5 for each of the 4 perk entries (1 entry is for each armor slot, helm, chest, gloves, and boots) so that it set armor to half weight

And then for unhindered I think you would remove all the old perk entries, then add your own, choose the entry point radial button, then choose 'Mod Power Attack Stamina' and then 'Multiply Value' and set the value as 0.75. I don't think you would need any conditions (unless you wanted to require that the player is wearing 4 pieces or light armor) and if you did want to require all light armor then i would say look at the perk 'CustomFit' and copy the conditons the perk entry has for perk owner

OK, will give it a go...thanks

EDIT:
I will try to do the same as to the heavy armor perk as for the light armor regarding conditions, seems more logical to me.

Condition:
You are not wering light armor
You are wering helmet
You are wering cuirass
You are wering gauntlets
You are wering boots
