I made a thread on here a while back about permanent corpses. There are some corpses in the game that never disappear, not only making them great dead thrall options, but also making them good house decorations. At that time, I wanted to have a cellar full of corpses and stack them all up on one another. But that didn't work out. Well, my new character is just as insane as my previous one, but this time she just wants one permanent corpse. You see, I sacrificed my housecarl during a quest and now the guest bedroom is a bit pointless. I want to find a permanent corpse and place it in the bed, so I can have a dead roommate.

Problem is, I want it to be a Khajiit. To my recollection, the only one that I could find before was dead male Khajiit in Alftand. Are there any others? Females, perhaps? So let me get this straight, you're looking for a permanent, female Khajiit corpse to keep in the guest bed of your house?

I never said it had to be a female corpse. I've just never come across any that were permanent - and I tested a lot of dead bodies with my previous character. People like to decorate their homes with all sorts of odd trinkets. I think having a random dead body is a good conversation starter. I only requested that it be Khajiit because my character is a Khajiit. I'm not putting the damn thing in my bed. It'll be in the small, one-person bed in the basemant.

You could use the CK to make a duplicate of that permanent dead Khajiit and then change it's six to female and move it into your house.

I can't remember the dungeon, but there is one somewhere that has three already dead khajiits (one female, two males I think) that are already part of the dungeon.

I think its funny that people want to collect corpses. Fun comes in all forms!

I'm on the 360, and again, I've never said that it needed to be female.

Do you dead thrall them and then have them run back with you to your house? Exactly how do you build up your collection?

Don't dead thralls melt afterward though?

Yeah. Or through the Ritual Stone if you're not a mage. I've seen some people sit corpses down on chairs, but I think that would require too much effort for me.

I had a dozen on my previous character. Unfortunately, only five-or-six turned out to be truly permanent. The others gradually disappeared.

Its not cool to play with the dead unless your a vampire then you have every right to play with the dead because DEAD THINGS CAN PLAY WITH OTHER DEAD THINGS!
