Remember when in oblivion the NPC's would actually go into shops, buy things and live out there days like an actual person instead of just standing around b%^ching about there lives and handing out sh^&y quests? I wish skyrim had npcs that bought things, cause then this suggestion would be epic:

What, NPC's spending all day in the pubs isn't good enough for you.

It would be cool to have your own shop, vendors, or control over your spouse's merchant activities. I can't think of a good way for it to work for single player though.

This would definitely compel me to create a merchant save. As long as the customers kept coming into your shop for orders, and your merchants on the road were killed by bandits (occasionally), this would be a great addition to the game.

If you could I would pick pocket the people leaving my shop and then put it back in stock.

Yeah, one of thing that I don't like in Skyrim, the NPC didn't feel alive, at least to me. It would be nice if they would add a personal shop.

I recommend Warzones. It doesn't give NPCs schedules or anything, but it does make the world a more lively place.

Personally, I don't see the point to a personal shop in a single player game. Who's going to buy your stuff? A bunch of random scripted NPCs? It's not like an MMO where other actual people do the buying.

That's actually a really good idea! You could set up a shop and sell the loot you gather from caves. Craft / Enchant things to sell.
