So would you like a weapon that would require a quest(s) to get and would be unique depending on certain choices?

I wouldn't mind something like Dragon Age where you collect materials and than decide what kind of weapon you want.

would be pretty awesome. A unique weapon specifications all based on personal preference.

I could dig it a weapon based on your choices or preferences in a quest or just the game would be interesting.

or a dialog with a special merchant that allows you to customize the creation of the weapon (i would have a plasma-sniper rifle with an accelerated round or a deploy able auto turret)

It would be a pretty cool little extra to have in the next game.

Yeah except it won't feel totally shallow and like it was only there because the game lacks so much depth that the weapons had to be customizable in order to fill in the empty spots.

I say just add in more weapon so eventually everyone get what they want.

And I would like to see various different parts that you could mix and match to make unique weapons.

some thing like a trtail carbine with all mods including cut content

It would have been good to get a unique weapon in the faction safehouses or as a gift from the faction leader you support in game.

It would also have been good to have a choice of mods with various weapons to make them your own.....increase its rate of fire or accuracy (with a reduced rate of fire), different types of scope (standard, night vision etc) for instance.
