Pesky Pesky Mannequins

So I'm aware that there is an exploit involved with the inner workings of the mannequins that allows the player to duplicate items. Personally, I'm not interested in duping items, or breaking the game in any way; I prefer to play the game as it was intended to be played. Legitamately and Unbroken. That said, the busted mannequins and their disappearing acts are taking away from my immersion into the game world. (Mind my spelling :P) Anyway, anyone glitched them into working permanently? I'd love to see the nice sets of armor I have displayed every time I walk into my house without having to tinker with the things!

I wouldn't call the dupe thing an exploit. It's more of a glitch. I have like 4 Necromancer's amulets and all I did was leave the house. And my mannequins work fine. Never had any trouble.

Some bug notes from the wiki:

Bugs

The mannequin does not display body armor, it becomes transparent. Visual glitch only. It seems this is a common problem with Mannequins. (Fixed by removing one item from the mannequin. Works best by using a ring or necklace. Equip the item to the mannequin, exit the menu, re-open the menu and unequip the item, then exit the menu again. All other armor will be displayed.)

Equipping the dragon priest masks on the mannequins may cause them to visually not appear on the mannequin once the menu is exited.

Armor placed into the mannequins inventory and later removed may duplicate upon re-entering the area. Improvements to the armor made with the armorer skill will not be carried over, however. (Confirmed with Thieves Guild Armor on PS3
