Phone version?

Probably a million to one chance of even a mega trimmed down Skyrim on devices but maybe Bethseda could let you micro manage your character via your phone.

Basically an app the provides an interface to the games activities and your inventory.

Some of the things you could do:

Trading
Enchanting
Alchemy
Read Books
Smithing
Atronach Forge
Cooking

Plug your phone into pc and sync. Viola! :)

On a serious note, do you think any of the TES will come out for handhelds?

but how you would do alchemy, enchant, smith, cook? If you were in the middle of a dungeon and needed those... Bam! Its done without having to go anywhere. Its an ok idea but it wouldnt do much...

I don't think there are that many people who are THAT addicted to Skyrim.

Online connectivity in a Bethesda game? Ha! That's rich.

Oblivion is a free mobile game out there, I got from somewhere I just don't remember. Didn't get too far on it though. I promptly deleted it. If Beth ever releases another little phone game like that, I recommend adding support for phones with werty keyboards this time.

In a sense, TES has been out for handhelds. 3 games in fact. They were exclusively for the smartphones of the time tho. Stormhold, Dawnstar, and Shadowkey. They were pretty primitive tho.

Any TES with a handheld version would be pretty disappointing compared to the full PC/console versions. I wouldn't even want to bother.

Remote access to basic game functions via a mobile device only makes sense with MMOs, since single player games don't run all the time. If such an app were developed, it would be a pretty troublesome security hole on your computer.

I really hope they don't bother, just dump all the money they are making and put it into future full games and dlc.
