Runner A is initially 5.3 km west of a ?agpole
and is running with a constant velocity of
8.7 km/h due east. Runner B is initially 4.8
km east of the ?agpole and is running with a
constant velocity of 7.4 km/h due west.
How far are the runners from the ?agpole
when their paths cross?
Answer in units of km


This baffles me to no end...lol

Use relative velocities to calculate the time it takes for them to reach each other.

Since they are 10.1 km away from each other, I just calcutale the time it'd take for them to reach each other? V=D/t?
