I have a question about a pickpocket perk.. Dont remember what the name is but the one that lets you place poison in someone pocket..

Whats really the point in this? I tried it out and sure it closely killed a npc.. But when i placed the finishing bottle (Didnt get caught while doing this ofc) the npc died and everyone was looking at me..

I thought the point was to be able to poison someone without getting caught by doing it infront of people.. Like "Slowly poison your food"

I heard it's useless.
