I'm having some problems getting the pip-boy companion app working... I've checked with about 5 friends and they are having similar problems.
So far, I've made sure that "Pip-Boy App Enabled" is in the ON position under Gameplay Settings and confirmed that both devices are on the same local network.
In order to confirm this I setup a quick apache server on my computer and connected with my phone and tablet (both android) via my desktop's local IP.
I have also confirmed that Fallout 4 is allowed within windows firewall, however I have also tried to connect after I disabled the firewall completely, and still nothing.
If anyone can think of any other steps to get this working I would really appreciate it - Thanks in advance!

). It's always active in the background and prevents any app from connecting to the internet. Once you install a new app, the firewall-app shows a little icon, that allows you to set specific connection-options for this app. And I granted it full access but it didn't work. So I tried this: I simply shut off the whole firewall app and then restarted the pipboy app and it worked. Then I simply started the firewall again and it still worked.
