Pip-Boy Map - Mouse won't scroll maps/ Renaming Saves Issue

Post » Wed Mar 09, 2011 4:35 am

Hi everyone. Just quick problem here - Running FONV retail unmodded on Vista 64 w/ a Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 2.0 (Wireless) and when I enter the PipBoy Local and World Maps, the mouse scrollwheel/middleclick won't scroll these in or out. Also is a mess when using the crafting menu. Is there a fix for this? Has anyone else experienced this problem with the maps? A temp fix for me using the MS mouse program to log it as a mouse WITHOUT horizontal scrolling, but then i lose a lot of my mouse's functions.

Also, trying to rename a save file I have to reflect a #1 (as opposed to #223 or something), but the game won't detect the save for loading or continue after I do. Am I doing something wrong here?

Thanks in advance everyone!

I had a similar problem with that same mouse in FO3. Sorry to say I never got it to work. It would scroll out, but then would never scroll back in  I now have a Logitech USB and it works fine.

Have you tried downloading the latest Intellimouse Driver?

That's EXACTLY what my issue is - I had problems with the mouse w/ Dragon Age: Origins, too. Well, I finally had it and went out and got a Logitech KeyBoard & Mouse set. - The drivers were all up date and that mouse just stinks, The Keyboard was pain too re. the double function F keys. Good riddance. Thanks for the reply, tho! Take care
