Pipeline for Multiple Work Stations (Multiple Persons)?

Post » Wed Jun 20, 2012 7:43 am

Hello,

I am currently working on a project that involves multiple people working on different parts at the same time. We've set up a mini-studio environment with multiple work stations, and have recently finished up most of the pre-production. We have arrived to the point where we need to start coming up with a development pipeline to handle all of these little pieces efficiently and collectively. So far we've experimented with separating packages for the artists (a "World" package) and the system designers (a "Script" package), and another package for general asset collection (an "Asset" package). But this still seems like a burdensome way to go about it.

So, my question to Bethesda and the community is what is the best pipeline model for dealing with more than one person simultaneously working on a single project?

Thank you!

Anyone know of anything besides hacking away with package merging?

The CK still has version control features present -- search the forums here, some people got it working.
