The patcher version still hangs with a lot of mods btw, trying it now to see if it's any better than the plugin.

Do you mean it hangs when processing a lot?

It basically won't finish patching with certain mods activated.

Still unsure what you mean here. Do you mean when a lot of plugins are loaded or what?

I haven't updated it yet, which is the reason. ;)

If I activate all my mods (ESPs, ESMs), the patcher won't finish. If I deactivate everything apart from skyrim.esm and update.esm, it'll finish.

At least you were able to figure out what he meant, then. >.>

Guess I better go back to writing my program to write a program that configures a program that writes documentation >_>

Gotcha. Sorry, I couldn't figure out what you meant back there. Looks like it's being take care of, though. :)

It's not entirely your fault mate, I did put it a bit awkwardly ;)

The initial download links should be updated... but this version should be improved. Seems slower, though. o.O Might just be my PC bogging down though.

Oooh, you've got some nifty checkboxes now! And the patch works with all plugins/mods (esps, esms) activated. (That was for you death :) )

Yeah, spent half the day trying to work in thread management and synchronization, then gave up, moved it all into the same class and linked everything together that way. <_> And lev got the issue with the failed NPC's working.

Yeah, that can be a real pain at times. I know the feeling

The patcher worked swimmingly for me this time! Thanks for all your work, Pluto (and Leviathan)!

Should have the size distributions done by the end of the evening, and possibly true spawn probabilities. :)

Hmmm, is anyone else still getting draugr that don't attack?

I'm starting to think it'd be best to exclude the "ambush" draugr and manually place "wandering draugr" spawns using the CK.

I'm not really sure why, but when I use the patcher esp my game crashes when the menu loads. I read somewhere that when that happens, I miss a .esm file. I'm not really sure right now what is causing the problems, but I thought I'd let you know. Off to bed now, it's nearly 4AM here and have to work tomorrow :(

The mods I use with the load order:

I'll test it out ^^ Just entering testing on the size variation right now, too.

Got the size scripts working, but only partially.. it seems to only be shrinking NPC's. Not really sure what's up. Really need to do some cross-checking with vanilla sizes, too. Had a couple odd bugs where I had a fox bigger than a house (no screen though), and a miniature draugr;

I'll try and finish tomorrow, and fix the draugr's, too.

Those may have been two of the funniest pictures I have ever seen in relation to Skyrim mods.

The latest patcher is working great.
Only complaint is that it says "Patching..." from the start of the program, before I even click Patch.
Other than that minor aesthetic issue, well done! :D

Yeah, that's something that will prolly just stick for a while 'cause I'm lazy on it.

In the meantime - increased variety is working, had to go through a few debugs to make sure though, I set the curve intensity way too high.

Edit: Now the range is a bit too high :(

Plugin:

Patcher:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/56852942/ASIS%20Patcher.zip

Now includes increased size variety. Customizable values. The function is;

percentage size variance = +/- e^(x^(intensity) / width) - 1, x being a random number between x min and x max.

Default values are +/- e^(x^8 / 5) - 1.

Also, draugr are fixed. :) Spawned draugr will now attack appropriately. Tested that in-game.
