A place for your off hand sword

Post » Fri Jun 22, 2012 2:21 pm

I lovee that they added dual wielding, but i hate that when you draw it; that the sword, axe, or mace just pops out of thin air. I thought maybe it would be cool for the off hand sword to place it on the back, and it would make sense for how the character is positioned. For the mace one on each side, and axe would be like the sword.

I hope so its annoying.. and while there at that, might as well change the Duel Wield running animations, it looks silly.

I personally asked vsions, a dev that makes character models and does things like this, why they did it like this. his response was simply time, they wanted to fix it but just didn't have time and it wasn't a priority, at all, so they just left it that way.

That and staves. Doesn't matter what hand you have it in, it just appears. There's nowhere on your character model for them.

If you own the pc version of skyrim, download the DSpSoB - Dual Sheath plus Shield on Back, mod from the nexus. Works like a charm. You can also choose to carry both swords or your daggers on the back with this mod (no more stabbing yourself in the thigh with your daggers while sneaking). And if you want to take it a step further and have all the weapons you currently carry show on your character, go for the armed to the teeth mod. Been using these two for some time now, brilliant work.
