Placing Activators

I understand you have to place an 'Activator' over a weapon plaque or mannequin for them to work in game. I do that but when i load up the game and test the weapon plaque's the sword appears about a metre away from the plaque, floating in mid-air and at the wrong angle. Any ideas?

offset the angle of the activator to a non-square, non-angle-snapped value.


i usually make all of my activators offset from the object by about 94.041 degrees. so if my object has a z angle value of 0, my activator has a z angle value of 94.041


offsetting this angle for some odd reason fixes a lot of problems

what are the main components to a weapon plaque? What I have is a playerhouse plaque, plaque activator which appears white, and a trigger. Is this right?
