Platform exchange

Post » Fri Jun 01, 2012 9:29 am

Is anyone aware of how I exchange my pre-ordered Ps3 version of skyrim (which will not function) for the PC version. IT is not a matter of lag but a matter of the NPCs and most other things ceasing to work at all over time. It happens gradually but after tons of patches and disappointment I'm sick of waiting.
Yes I know I should have gotten it on PC in the first place but the call of my comfy sofa and big TV tricked me. After watching my husband play through several times and me never even getting to see the full story. I am sick and tired.
I know this is the PC forum but I thought maybe you all would know what the steps are to sending this coaster back to them and getting Skyrim on my steam account. I know Bethesda won't refund and I was dumb enough to try and wait for a fix, but a full fledged fix will never come so I'm not looking for a refund just a way to play the game and I don't think I should have to put out more money to do so.

Return it to the retailer and buy the PC version? There is no exchange, it's up to the retailer you bought it from.

The PC version can do the same exact thing...

Wireless mouse and keyboard or controller...

Problem is I pre-ordered it so it's past the exchange date....I was dumb enough to wait for the "fix"
I don't know why I didn't just use my wireless keyboard and controller....Still asking why did I do this....but in essence the product is admitted defective by the manufacturer so should I not be entitled to this?

No, you are not "entitled" to anything.

No one ever is entitled to anything, except a couple. But that's not a topic for this.

It's up to the retailer. If you want to complain about the PS3 version, take it to the proper board.

I think you are certainly "entitled" to the product you thought you were buying. There was no "This Product is Broken" sticker on the box, was there? Take it back to the store and make a stink about it. I guarantee it won't be the first complaint they have had on this particular product.
