I just finished up the quest The House Always Wins I. After that I had travelled to the fort to activate the weather station with the platinum chip and the chip had dissappeared from my inventory. However the securitrons were still mark two and Caesar was still dead. I've been hoping for a patch and doing other missions but it seems kind of vital to have the chip.
