1. Look at the youtube video's related to your game. I've checked and came across at least a few > Dozen < videos , with hundreds or even thousands of views that share some pretty bad qualities about the game, and areas they'd like to see changed or improved upon. One such an example is "Being a vampire in Skyrim....", when I searched this i got ...
- "Being a vampire in skyrim...svcks !"
- "Being a vampire in skyrim...How to cure it immediately!"
- "Being a vampire in skyrim...Dont do it !!"
Again this is not a post to bash , simply saying that tons of people would "LIke" to be a vampire, but due to the staggering number of drawbacks, and the miniscule benefits, its just not worth the players time to experience this part of your game. This turned me off the idea in 5 seconds flat. I watched a few videos that said " It svcks, i die every-time i fast travel somewhere far and I zone into a city..." etc etc. I haven't seen one good reason to become one. There is no "Vampire association or guild", there is no "Vampire glory quest-line" theres just a quest-line to kill a famous one, or named npc, and one to cure it the disease.
Again using google search, or Bing, or youtube again, you can find thousands of articles, videos, blog posts, and player feedback that denote several main aspects or game breaking bugs. Theres still no fix to the "Thieves guild armor , guild leader armor, and armor upgrade" bug yet. I know theres probably a team trying to tackle most of the issues , and thats what these patches are for. But , your team needs to realize that Oblivion was still being bought, played, and loved 5 years after its original release. Skyrim is going to be out for a long, long time. You can make more money, and a better product by asking your community directly, and taking the pulse of your fans to see what they want, and what there willing to pay for. I mean, if you made some pretty badass new guilds, or epic questlines I know I'm at least one of thousands that would be willing to pay for it. I cant tell you guys enough how excited I am for your expansions after playing the "Shivering Isles" xpac. You could even look at pop culture right now, what "ideas" , or "themes" are popular right now. Vampires, werewolfs, and other fantasy based ideas.
Well thats my schpeel ... hopefully its taken into consideration.
P.S. : The main story line...really...really......Couldnt get anyting better off the big baddie at the end ?? No "epic lewt of baddass-ness" ? Seems a little well...dull...
