All we know is you can get a temporary house or suite at each hotel

It's probably going to be much easier to have a house. I can see having a house in Goodsprings by ONLY saving the town from the Powder Gangers.

I could see that even if you sided with the Powder Gangers, you could make it your home. I mean... everyone would be dead. Turn it back into a Ghost town, shall we?

I hope there is some kind of permanent house or at least there is the option to make anywhere our permanent house. In Fallout 3 I used the National Guard Depot and I had a rather extensive setup. As strange as it sounds my favorite thing about Fallout became coming back "home" from a quest and putting my new stuff on shelves. I LOVE collecting things in these games.

I really hope we can have more than one house at a time, and if we can only have one i hope there will at least be more storage space

Agreed. I had an obsession with the garden gnomes in the game and the nuka cola trucks. I would find them everywhere and bring them back home. I even once found a garden gnome with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth in my collecting. Storing them was awesome but when dogmeat would continually knock them over, he was forced to stay outside.

I wouldn't be surprised if we bunked in with Doc Mitchell.

Or if he tries anything I'll kill the guy and see if the 'red bed' is back.

Yep thats what I did, I got tired of my megaton house and the tenpenny tower suite wasnt that nice to me. So I downloaded that one mod to give me a tranquility home next to megaton with the security bots as well as a huge underground ammo bunker.

It was, not to mention the damn mister handy would always get stuck or knock your stuff over. Not to mention its pretty much a pain placing your stuff on shelves the way you want when they want to flip around or go crazy knocking everything else down.

Yeah I'm hoping theres a bread crumb to a permanent abode right in the beginning. I'm a pack rat, I need a lot of storage. Allot allot. Mucho storage-o. A freaking warehouse would be ideal. With sniper nests on the roof. And a French Maid named Claire with very flexible morals.

I'm more interested to hear about the Themes. I know it's easily mod-able, but I'd like a variant of each theme without the clutter. So the static objects would be there, but not the shelves full of coffee cups or whatever. Hell, I'd be happy to have "Storage Theme". A nice clean theme of empty shelves and many a locker, footlocker, filing cabinet etc

There most definately will be a permanent house of some sort, it would not be an RPG otherwise. What would be cool is a courier system. For example you request such and such item to be delivered to such and such place and then you just have to wait a set amount of hours (depending on where the item is coming from) before it is delivered by another courier, free of charge of course by the same courier firm that you work for.

I have ten hours logged into the game. No house yet. No house in the starting town even after the quest.
