Well I installed Skyrim and on the menu, I try to click "play" and it says "Failed to initialize renderer, hardware T&L required but not supported by adapter." Now I don't know if it's because I need a graphic card or what, but all I know is... I NEED HELP, PLEASE!

What information do you need?

System specs (type of processor, video card, OS, etc.). Post a Dxdiag.

However, judging from the error message you got, it's likely that you're trying to use an unsupported video card or chipset.

How do you post a Dxdiag? Sorry I never really looked into this stuff, I always play games that require not alot of attention, like WoW or Diablo.

Start -> Run/Search-bar -> dxdiag -> Save All -> Post saved file in:

[spoiler]text goes here[/spoiler]

Leave out the code tags.

Also, every game requires attention if it isn't working right. It just so happens that those games are less demanding on hardware now.

I know how to get into dxdiag but dumb it down a little, thanks. lol.

That's as dumbed down as it can be. When you open it up, there's a box that says Save. Post the contents of the resulting file in the format I described.

Was that the full file? Because I don't see any information on your video card.

I will tell you, though, that your CPU is the absolute bare minimum needed to run this game, and you don't have a lot of RAM. Even if you get Skyrim going, it's likely to be a pretty lousy experience, with lots of lagging and stuttering.

What is a spoiler tag, would I need to put it in a spoiler tag as well? Sorry again, I don't mean to be a noob, I'm just not very good with this stuff.

As I suspected, your basic problem is that your video chipset is well below the minimum required to run this game, and frankly, your whole system is so old that it's not worth upgrading.

The cheapest route you can take is to build one yourself. Shop for deals on sites like Tiger Direct or Newegg, buy the components you need and put it together yourself (or if you're not comfortable doing this, get a friend who's computer savvy to help you out). You can probably put together a decent gaming rig this way for about $600 - $700 (more if you want or need a new monitor). Maybe a bit less if you can get some really good deals. Unfortunately, hard drive prices have really spiked in the aftermath of all the natural disasters in Asia recently, so you're going to pay for those for a while yet.

As far as preassembled gaming systems go, Alienware is probably the best known manufacturer. IMO, their systems are WAY overpriced, but YMMV.

Best known but not the best. Origin and Maingear and Digital Storm are lesser known but are of a higher quality. AW's quality is rather questionable at times.
