So my internet went down for a few hours yesterday and I couldn't get Fallout to work for the PC. I had heard that you can play in an offline mode but no matter what I did I couldn't get it to work and I can't find any answers through Google. So before snow and ice bring down the internet again can anyone inform me on how to play offline?

One of the menus on the Steam window has the option "Go Offline". Once you've done that, every time you boot your system and Steam goes to launch, it'll pop up a window asking if you want to be online or offline.
