I would rather Bethesda fix the remaining bugs & optimize it before they do, The game is massive & has plenty to do for the time being.

They have already fixed alot of the bugs and the game had very few game breaking bugs in the first place...we need dlc.

We don't need DLC, Beth has a lot on their plate with bugs that they need to focus on first.

They have already released 3 patches...all I'm asking for is a dlc announcement, I don't mean for them to release the dlc now.

If its as big as Shivering Isles was, I think it will be a lot later than next month for the DLC to be released. If its close to the scale of Shivering Isles, I wouldn't be surprised if took until September or even later before it gets released.

They need to fix the game they have now before they break a dlc plus they said the content they release will be very large so that will take a little while.

Going on past experience, based on Oblivion, Fallout 3, and FNV, I say hang off on releasing any DLC until it is absolutely certain that all the bugs are eradicated from it, and won't damage the game any further than it is at the moment.

And that is being very very fair to Beth...considering that we are still seeing bugs in Skyrim that are a carry over from the bugs introduced into Fallout 3 via the Broken Steel DLC.

Even an announcement of 'when' is a portent of doom for game stability...it means that things will be rushed to meet a deadline, and that always spells trouble for video games.

I was waiting for this to happen. Just like with New Vegas. Next we'll have people whining about how Bethesda needs to release weekly DLC just to "keep the game relevant."

As if the platform wars and PC elitists weren't fun enough!

OP, Bethesda is going to announce it when they announce it. Everybody just needs to be patient. Take heart: I'm guessing they won't rush something [censored] out to us and the DLC will be worth it. They aren't releasing map packs here.

The first two patches further broke the game, the third patch fixed a lot of problems and improved performance. Also, If you don't need them to release the DLC now, why do you need to know what it is?

the first two patches made the game betetr for me, besides the backwards dragons they broke nothing.

Bethesda has said there will be less DLC, it will be larger, near expanion sized, and that it will nto only add new things but imrpove on existing mechanics.

Screw DLC... realease the CK... I don't want to pay for horse armor or another house...

Now an exspantion would be another story. I thought SI was better than Oblivion....
