So hey what is the latest on this important issue?

I bought the full edition, but I haven't been on LIVE for six months. If I go back on now, will LIVE get rid of the game?! But I paid for it! I spent around 800 points on that - that's around ￡10! If I don't get a refund....

Thats not how games on the Xbox work. Xbox Live is simply the server which you install DOOM from. The game itself exists on your Xbox's hard drive.

You should be fine.

Bring it to PSN while you're at it, with the PSX sound track!
