This will make PC people pissed off:

Steamworks requirement on RETAIL - I gladly go for a friendly version of DRM (why people reinstall games so often, just leave it installed, problem solved)
Please no "PRESS START" in PC version !!!!
High Quality Texture Downloadable packs should be free .... or retail ability to buy it if it's going to cost.


Steam has a fatal requirement - and that is credit-card only purchasing which a lot of people outside USA don't do or are unable - for example 18yrs less customers.

I think the hi-res packs will be free. What I am really interested in, is that carmack goes off to the side and does all the tweaks he was mentioning about the engine and changes he wants to do and then give those out for public testing even if it means as beta rather than us waiting for id Tech 6 or Doom 4 to see those (assuming they even end up in Doom since he also mentioned they want stability over newer technology for Doom 4 so as to reduce dev time).

Oh and btw, I prefer steamworks / steam titles any day over retail or standalone clients. I don't find the email / steam login DRM intrusive even if the game has an additional key based DRM.
