Point of marriage in Skyrim?

Its just like the foodstuff i suppose, bethesda probably thought that not many players would desire it as much as they desired smithing, for example, so they didnt spend much resources on it. Its probably just to spice up the game rather than a full fledged feature.

Beware what you're asking if you tell a Nord to unsheath his weapon. Just saying.

Point of marriage? It's fun. All my characters have some sort of love life. They also have some past traumas, family members (outside Skyrim, dead or alive), some goals and purposes, likes and dislikes, favorite food and drink, and so on.

What's the point of having so many different types of weapons and armor? What's the point of having different types of food? What's the point of character creation?

Seriously. Spelling.

A real nord uses both hands for his weapon.

*cough*

Apparently not, some of the guards actually find the bigger ones too clunky to manage. Maybe if they hadn't taken all those arrows in the knees...

Well there are some schools of thought that it's not the size of the weapon but how you use it.

Why not both?

Well, two-handed master Vilkas claims it's all in the swing.

One-handed expert Athis insists he can be in and out several times before a two-hander makes his first move.

Just don't bother asking Aela, she's never used anything bigger than a dagger.

From now on I'll look at the Companions in a completely different way...
