I would REALLY love to have this gun as the new 10mm. the default one is very bad in my opinion. I'd be very appreciative!

I think like ALL of those guns need to be replaced. The 9mm looks like an M1911, which isn't 9mm. Then the .22 just looks silly. UGH.

If it is just textures you should be able to use the FO3 download.

I actually tried this, but every time I started the game, it crashed before I got to the main menu, so no luck there unfortunately.

Yeah, I probably wasn't qualified to answer that. I hadn't tried any weapon mods but the armor from FO3 I tried worked /shrug

By the way, you technically can't use that in any other game.

"Conversion permission:
You are not allowed to convert this file to work on other games under any circumstances"

Unfortunately... Because that's a nice gun. I'd try to contact the creator to see if he was willing to convert it or give written permission to let someone else convert it.

Edit: Well, it says you can use it in FO3, but he wants to know if it is. So yeah, a PM in the author's direction would be necessary.

I read that you can use assets from one game as long as the same assets are in the other? Any truth to that?

Uh, I don't think so... I mean, maybe, but it's hard to tell with FO3 and New Vegas.

Regardless, this is a custom texture that solely belongs to the creator, and use is restricted by said creator.

Well, it says it doesn't permit conversions. Nothing here was converted, just copy-pasted.

It's fine to convert ANY mod for yourself, you just can't distribute them.

1) Download the mod
2) Extract the files to your Data folder (take note of where it goes)
3) Delete the esp file that came with the mod
4) Open the GECK Editor
5) Find the 10mm Pistol
6) Change the model to the one you just downloaded
7) Save

The 9mm is a Browning Hi-Power, which is 9mm and very similar to the 1911 (look it up on wikipedia) The .22 is a ruger MKIII, which is a real gun (the most recent in what is without a doubt the most popular line of .22LR pistols around).

If you are going to complain about the guns you should be asking where all the SKS's, Mosin-Nagant's, AR15's, AK's and Remington 870's went :P

However back on topic I totally agree the 10mm pistol and SMG need replacement.

Oh boy... the GECK is confusing as hell to me.
