Is it possbile to ONE HIT a Dragon? : V

Well i jsut did it with sneak. But with the right items and gear is it really possible in a 1v1 fight? Let's say you max smithing, enchanting and stuff like that (no battle skills) would it be possible then or would you need to be 100 in more skills? A friend of mine said it was possible so before testing, is the answer out there?

mehrunes razor indeed. that requires a lot of luck though.
i was sneaking up on one of them once with a daedric dagger while wearing my DB gloves for the double backstab. along with the 15x backstab perk. so it was like 47 damage x30 so something like 1410 damage. it was killed in one hit. although to die it had to fly off of a word wall and then die. but it had no health bar while doing so.
it was a lesser dragon but a dragon none the less.

Of course there is. Have you not seen the thread where someone achieved 3000 or 6000 (???) bade damage for the daedric sword. Then imagine it with a x12 times sneak attack (w/ DB gloves) along with enchants and poisons.

I gotten a dragon down to 30%.

Maybe if I used a Potion or a Daedric arrow...

I've been unable to sneak with a dragon around.

But I'll say the kill console command doesn't work on them :/

WIthout sneaking, you'll probably have to be an orc and pop Berserker Rage.

I've only found one dragon sleeping and my sneak wasn't maxed at the time so I never got to find out. I tried several times but I didn't seem to be getting the backstab multiplier even when I hit him.

Even with 100 Sneak and a Sneak necklace and Sneak ring and muffle boots and fully perked Sneak w/ Shadow Warrior I've never been able to sneak around a dragon. They always spot me anyway. What are you guys doing that allows you to sneak around them?

At best I can get a sneak bow shot on them. Forget a backstab.

No you don't, you said you killed a dragon using Sneak. But after that you just asked if it's possible to "if the right items and gear make that possible in a 1v1 fight".
You never implied or actually asked: "Is it possible to kill a Dragon on 1 hit without using Sneak"?

But it is possible to kill a Dragon in one hit, you just got to be lucky, and by that I mean very very very lucky.

miraa the Ultimate stealth perk = 1 second of stealth on entering sneak mode no matter what = you can be standing in it face, poke it and still land a sneak attack.

Wow thanks for the tip! I will check it out just got that perk. However it is possible to one hit an ancient dragon on master difficulty as well if you do some nice upgrading and enchanting on ur daggers. See the most popular thread about that

I shouted a dragon to the ground and it glitched out and died instantly. Yeah I one hitted it xD

very easy difficulty, sneak attack critical, damage potions, poison and a lot of luck
