I think the patch is giving us the levels for OWBs which is bad because its not giving us the new perks for OWBs that might be usefull. So if you raise your levels to level 45 you won't get more levels with OWBs and be screwed on OWBs new perks. The patch got the game ready for OWBs I think the patch is giving the next 5 levels before you actually download OWBs which is a glitch.

Thats not good because you miss out on the new perks associated with the DLC. Leveling up to 40 before HH ment you missed out on new perks associated with HH like Grunt

Do what I have been doing. Avoid playing NV until all the DLC is released.

It is annoying, because I have had the itch to play recently, but know if I complete the game now, I will not be able to muster up another playthrough when the next 2 DLC's come out. I have been playing FO3 to scratch the itch in the meantime.

I am also waiting for LA Noire DLC...sux waiting :violin:

maybe they switched it so that the patch gave you max level instead of the DLC. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

I don't know if he is serious about reaching level 50, but he isn't lying about gain additional levels before OWB is even out. I can vouch for him, I'm also on PS3 and after reading his thread about reaching level 45, I downloaded the patch and tested it myself. Sure enough I gained XP that shouldn't be gained until OWB is installed. This is a glitch with the patch and needs to be fixed immediately.
