Possible hint towards DLC?

Post » Sat Jun 02, 2012 5:38 pm

Anyone who has taken the Stormcloaks side in the civil, and completed it, will know that Ulfric says defeating the empire was only half the problem, and they will soon turn their attention to the Thalmor (Although, he says after the speech that the Dominion will see that skyrim is in turmoil and will turn their attention to skyrim) So, what im getting at is that maybe DLC will include a Stormcloak/Skyrim vs the Thalmor, I think it would be pretty cool, What do yall think about it?

I'd rather the plot be resolved in DLC, as I don't want the next Elder Scrolls game to be about that, but it's just too big. I don't even think a full-sized expansion pack would be big enough to topple an empire.

Well, they would neccesarily Topple the Thalmor, just get them out of Skyrim, and make them not want to come back I assume, or maybe the Thalmor will topple Skyrim and take it over? (And maybe as a High Elf you could side with the Thalmor,) Because, if the Stormcloaks leave Skyrim to go after the Thalmor directly, wont the Empire just come back to Skyrim and take it over while the stormcloaks are off at war?

I'd go for it as long as I've got an option to betray the empire/stormcloaks and join the Thalmor as that's what my second character is, Thalmor Mage...

Yeah, id like that too, It would give you insight to the otherside of the Great War, and see it from the Thalmor's eyes. Assuming you would have access to books/people who would tell you about it, The only thing I see wrong with that, is I cant see Thalmor guards taking over where the Stormcloak/imperials are, It would feel out of place...

While this would be good, I hope they don't dilute their villainy by attempting to make them remotely sympathetic.

I'd like it if the DLC addressed both the Stormcloaks and Imperials, depending on who you sided with. The Stormcloaks aren't the only ones that want to go to war with the Thalmor.
