Possible house thread?

After 70 hours, I am still looking for a good home. I want a bunker with tons of shelves. Isn't there a post on here somewhere about good places to live?

I know. That's what I am using right now but I like bunker-type homes. I stayed in the National Guard Depot on Fallout 3 and it was perfect.

What about a vault? Or the NCRCF?

If you clear out the fiends in Vault 3.I'm sure you could use that as a player home. Not to far from Vegas either. Just have to deal with a few fiends when you leave the vault every once in a while.

NCRCF would be good but I there are too many NCR troopers around.

That's only if you help them retake it, just don't and kill all the powder gangers instead.

If you are playing on PC you could try this.

If not, I would use the BoS Bunker.

Does anyone have a good list of possible homes? There was quite an extensive list for Fallout 3 on this site. I really miss the house DLC's from Oblivion. I wish they'd make some for New Vegas. I play on a 360 so no mods for me.

I'm currently using Lone Wolf Radio Station as my house. Not much to look at, no reloading or workbench, but comes with 2 containers and a bed. And it's nice and quiet :)

Be careful storing weapons there. Some containers re-spawn and you could lose your items. It's safer to store weapons in containers that you have to go through a loading screen to get to (i.e. buildings or houses). I'm not saying this will happen to you, but I've had some horror stories.

Yes, this is the BoS bunker I was referring to. I don't think it was intended to be a player home, but it will work.

I use Harper's Shack. It has all the amenities but is a quite a bit smaller than a bunker.

If you want a vault, you could try Vault 19. Get rid of the inhabitants and they do not come back.
