Possible return of the Dwemer? (possible spoiler alert) : V

So i've been teased by the idea that it's possible the Dwemer are going to make their return in one of the next games.
If I understood correctly, the Dwemer disappeared mysteriously.
They were in possesion of an Elder Scroll, right? (possible spoiler alert) The one used in Skyrim, opens the timewound.
So, what if the Dwemer were transported throught time aswell? Would it be possible we will get to see them in a next chapter of TES?

What do you think about it?

theres been more on them in past games, but the reason they disappeared is already known.. i guess they could retcon it though.

Interesting theory, but I'm under the belief that they tried to either make a god or godlike creature, or they tried to ascend from the mortal plane, and simply aren't coming back because they screwed up and they died.

I heard a moderator came back and said that the Dwemer were gone for good.

I heard they were absorbed into the skin of that... thingy that it's name started with an N, and hence were incapable of returning because they were literally transmuted into solid state matter. It's very core protected not by something corporeal, but something metaphysical as the soul of the dwemer themselves.

...or it was something like that.

I really doubt it, from my understanding they have transferred their people into the http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Numidium to transcend this plain, but they essentually unmade themselves.
The http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Dwemer will never return.
