possible texturelag fix

Post » Thu May 03, 2012 3:41 am

hey guys!

like many of you, i absolutely love the game but have been frustrated with lag and texture issues. im playing on the xbox, have the game installed to my hard drive, have 10 meg for internet (download), and play on a 27 samsung tv.

yesterday, i went into the options to mess with things and think i found a fix. i turned down the pvssyr in audio (which made the game WAY more fun to play without some dude telling me he was down every five seconds), and turned off everything except obituaries in the graphics area.

AND WOULDN"T YOU KNOW?!?

next game, textures were improved greatly and didn't encounter one issue with lag. i've played roughly 10 games since (about three hours worth) and have not HAD ONE ISSUE.

it's possible there was too much going on during the game and turning off the xp with other things helped with textures - but, im no expert - so let me know if this works for you guys too.

thought id sign up and share.

There aren't that many graphic things to turn off aside from XP indicator and camera bob. Helped nothing.

Hi found that if you increase the video gamma to the second or third maximum setting the texture poping seems to disappear. I have a Panasonic flatscreen TV with a Game picture mode that I use, so if the game becomes too bright just tone done the TV's setting.

But I do find that the texture are still abit grainy when looked upon up close without the patch.
