Is it possible that I'm running out of steam at lvl45?

I've finished the Main Quest line and all the faction lines, all the WordWalls and Shouts. What lies ahead?

BTW ... I've been maybe 10 hours at lvl45 ... it's like time (or XP) stood still.

All the daedric quests. There are 15 of them, and only 4 (I think) have shrines. Good luck with that Oblivion Walker achievement. ;)

Collect Dragon Masks, Becoming Thane in every town, complete all the daedric quests, get every Dragon shout and word, get to 1 million in gold, get 100 Dragon Souls, there's still plenty to do although I do agree it does get boring at high levels.

If you want to keep leveling, it helps to switch weapon/armor type or start using skills you haven't used much before--this can also make fights more interesting, as well.

I am more or less done with the vanilla game as well, about 200 hours is normal for me for vanilla tes. When mods start rolling out, I'll give it another 500 hours or so, but swtor till then=p

i'm at level 48, i've done about 1/3 of the main quest, none of the civil war quests, only a few of the other factions quests, i am arch mage, i own the markarth house and the riften house, i'm married to brelyn, i've prob discovered 1/3 of the locations, have a dozen shouts, i've prob put 150 hrs in the game i guess, more or less, but i have lots to do and i've only cleared about 50 something dungeons with lots more to go in and a lot of quests i haven't done yet, so i'm taking my time and trying to pace myself cause i want lots of quests still once i'm leveled up. so i can use all my perks and just cruise around questing and learning more about the lore.

What I did was play three separate characters (mage, thief/assassin, warrior) and only have each do quests that would fit their persona. My high elf sorceress couldn't care less for the civil war, for example. Neither of my other characters had anything to do with the college of winterhold. My warrior would go around helping skyrim's citizens with their various problems; my bosmer assassin would carry out murder contracts for gold and buy better poisons and weapons with the money. This game gives you incredible RP'ing potential- use it.
