Post » Thu Jun 28, 2012 4:47 pm

Hello everybody !

With all the Vampire Lord fans showing up around the forums , I understood how little the number of the actually good characters is.

Anyway , my orientation of characters was always going from 'Good' to 'Obsessively Good'..

So here I will post my latest character , you can follow the scheme to post yours !

Name: Aerin ( I'm not sure about the name )
Last-Name: Fransoric
Gender: Female
Race: Nord
Age: 24
Class: Holy Ranger
Birth Place: Bruma , Cyrodiil
Birth Date: 18 of Morning Star 4E 177

Combat Skills: Archery , very minor One-Handed ( Swords are too heavy for her , Daggers only if critical )

Magic Schools: Restoration

Crafting Skills: Minor Alchemy

Backstory:
Aerin was born in Bruma to a couple of rich parents , her mother line was a continuation of a Breton member from the Mages Guild back in the Oblivion Crisis. ( Look at the Last-Name :D )

When she reached the age of 16 , her family left the city for unknown reasons with another rich family , the other family also left their daughter with Aerin to live in her family house.

The other girl became her best friend , they lived well from sewing clothes and collecting Alchemy ingredients around the city , they always loved to drink Wine and to make love intrigues within Bruma.

One day , Aerin was home but was surprised to see that her friend wasn't home , night already came and there was no sign of her.

She was very worried , she knew that her friend went to Pale Pass this day , it was very dangerous at night.
She had no other choice but to go and search.
That night a storm rose around the Jerall Mountains , Aerin was looking around the Pass , then she saw a group of Imperial soldiers going towards a hill , she followed them.

When they arrived to the top of the hill , she heard screams from the other side , these screams were of her friend.
Witches were tearing her friend , when they saw the soldiers they turned into werewolves and escaped.

The Imperials took Aerin as one of the witches by accident.

She survived Helgen by Stendarr's hand , he will gift her the status of Holy Archer through a vision.

That's it I guess , Post your characters , reply and rate !

Define "Very good."

Considering you think only bad people choose to sneak, I don't think you and I would agree on my character being "very good."

Well , I always go with the orientation of 'Obsessively Good'

That means , anyone who says the word Daedra , Vampire , Lycan , get and arrow in the head immediately and without saying a word.

As for build , Sneaking isn't evil ( I think ) , lockpicking is.

XD

I saw people who heard the name Camilla and thought it's a Male , so just for case.

My character picks locks and pockets when necessary. They were skills she developed early on to survive, but now she does them if she thinks it can solve the problem better than charging head on. She does them similar to the Way of the Voice: Only in times of true need, and not for her own personal gain.

Spoiler
For example. While she suspected the Battle-Borns weren't being honest with her about the missing Grey-Mane, she wasn't just going to cut them down to find the truth, especially since she knew she could be wrong about them. Instead, she broke into their home at night to investigate.

In my opinion The Way Of The Voice is as said made for the glory of the gods.
I use it only in order to slay dragons as they are the threat to the world.

True, but she's extrapolated that those who interfere with her (ie attack her while she's exploring) are interfering with her mission to end the threat of dragons, thus justifying the use of the Thu'um. She feels that all those who stand in the way of her objectives are just as valid targets for her Thu'um as any dragon, though she doesn't like using it at all really.

The most common shout she uses is actually Clear Skies, which she uses in her daily worship of Kynareth.

On the "uses bows, but swords are too heavy" bit ...

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but bows take a LOT of strength to draw, specially longbows (which about half or more of Skyrim's bows would classify as). Some longbows can hit 100+ lbs to draw it all the way. A 5 lb sword is considered heavy.

Even small shortbows like these run 30-40 pounds. Can't be strong enough to draw a bow but not strong enough to wield a one-hander. Two-handers is more than understandable, since at that point other muscles are needed for control and lifting it is the easy part.

2 things, meant chaotic neutral (if that was wht was confusing), second (about no bark's quote) i do not trust people who do not have something wrong with them to make them less than "god" because it means they are hiding from you

Well, my character wasn't always good but he is now!

Name: Brinwylf
Gender: Male
Race: Nord
Age: 34
Birthplace: Rorikstead, Skyrim

Combat Skills: One handed, block, heavy armor, sneak, archery

Magic: None

Crafting: A fantastic smith, level 100 in fact.

Backstory: Brinwylf was born in Skyrim during a particularly devastating winter. The family had given up hope that the boy would see the spring, as he was sick for months after his birth. He was tough though. Determined. That determination would carry with him through most of his life. Rorikstead is a small town. It's renowned for it's farming, but not much else. While most around were happy with a town that had never had a bad harvest by the time he hit 20 Brinwylf was bored.

So he became a thief.

It was thrillseeking at first and nothing more. He started with jewelery. Then moved up to fencing weaponry. The arms trade in Skyrim is an easy and lucrative way to make money, as adventurer's are always searching for the latest equipment to survive dwelling down into the crypts and old ruins about. Soon enough, Brinwylf left his hometown and roamed the countryside as a bandit and thief stealing what he could for little reason other than find something to do with his life.

He got caught. As nearly all thieves do. He was given a choice. The headsman's axe or the Legion. In the aftermath of the great war, soldiers were needed to calm border disputes and keep people who would of taken advantage of the wild political circumstances in check. For Brinwylf, this was a new life. He found discipline in the legion. His commander was an old nord named Raal, who drilled concepts of personal honor and pride into Brinwylf's head. After eight years of service, the Brinwylf that came out of the legion was no sneakthief. He was a proud Nord, a soldier in the Legion and caught in a homeland that was changing.

He tried to reenter Skyrim and found himself caught up in an Imperial ambush. No matter how many attempts he made to explain who he was the Captain wouldn't listen and sent him to be executed. For Brinwylf, this was an incredibly disheartening experience and made him question deeply his dedication to the legion. After the Dragon Attack, he would roam Skyrim for months and very nearly went back to thievery. He'd keep deciding against it. The Legion's teaching's beat hard in his heart. He became a roaming warrior, stopping bandits. Saving those who he could. In his head though, his honor was gone.

Thankfully he found the Companions. He served with them, growing a deep admiration for them and a particular affection for the members of the circle. That was why he made the decision to become a Werewolf. He didn't really understand what it meant to his soul, the greater implications for later in life. Before he could consider it, the Companions were asked to retrieve an object related to increasing dragon attacks around Skyrim. Feeling shame for not acting on the threat sooner, Brinwylf goes to Bleak Falls Barrow. Soon after he would learn of his destiny as the Dragonborn and become aware of the growing threat of the war. He's a man caught between worlds. Loyal to the empire, yet also doubting it's loyalty to him in return. Loving his homeland, but feeling as though it's tied tightly to the Empire.

In Combat, he tends to be tactical. He's a soldier. He'll sneak as close as he can and try to tag you with an arrow, ending a battle as painlessly as possible. He's quiet even in his armor and his skill with a bow is learned well from his younger days as a thief. Failing that? He'll go in swinging with his sword and shield, swinging his blade wildly...and there's always the beast inside him to add an x-factor.
