Well there are also thousands of morons who only watch the Stanley Cup finals or the Olympics. Then they claim, with knowledge that can only come from watching hockey once a year, that Canada is easily the best team in the world and no one else has a chance.

Hahaha truer words have never been spoken. I know quite a few people like this.

I'll have the game on while I'm doing other stuff, so I guess I'll "watch" it. I think if enough of us Americans know that this may cause a riot, our collective wishing may make the team win. "Screw Hockey, I wanna see some riots!" :bigsmile:

Pretty good first period. Canada is leading 1-0 right now. There have been plenty of collisions on the ice already, including a one-punch fight. America has made a lot of shots, but they've been all over the place.

Sports hooliganism or riots is one human activity I could never understand. Its just a game, not a life or death matter.

Hockey? Pfft! Never been a fan of it. probably because I live in the deep south and hockey doesent happen down here. Football is the obsession here.
