Any chance that we can get a patch, or even have it part of the DLC to remove the needless invisible walls? I don't even feel like exploring the wasteland because I may come to a hill that I have to walk around. I'm reminded how bad this was just walking from Trading Post 188 to the Power Station for Mr. House. A small hill stood between the trading post and the power station. I couldn't go over, I had to go around. A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME! Please consider that there are ALOT of people who are really angry about this, even a month after the game was released. PLEASE FIX THIS!
I would agree. In Fallout 3, there were some invisible walls as well; but they seemed a lot more predictable and well out of the way. You really had to try pretty hard to get blocked by an invisible wall. However, in New Vegas, they'll be in a doorway where you surely CAN walk through; but you can't. Or, they'll be between a corner of two buildings which prevents you from being able to walk through, but at another corner with the same dimensions, there's no problem. And don't get me started on mountain climbing! It's completely unpredictable! Bethesda talked about being to explore the way you want, but New Vegas really shatters that illusion with unpredictable walls that hinder your movements.
It just adds to the sloppiness that was done on the beta testing of this game. I don't know if they'll be able to fix this because it's not a glitch; it's bad collision box placement, and because there are just SO many of them. Obsidian needs to fire that guy to put them there in the first place! He's/ She's definitely last gen's computer game artist!
