It's a Fallout game. It's being made by Sawyer, MCA, Urquhart and the crew. It's an open world RPG. A ton of gameplay, characters and non-linear story. Different factions and reputation system. Improved RPG system. Traits. Customization. Aiming down the sight + VATS (which is also improved). Companion wheel. Warmer color pallete and soundtrack that reminds of Mark Morgans work. hardcoe mode. Dark humour. Vegas. etc. etc.

I'm looking forward to the fact that they used the Fallout 3 engine, and improved on it so our modding knowledge remains relevant.

I'm looking forward to the fact that they re-used alot of the common objects/assets, as that makes it possible to transfer some mods over legally (with modification).

I'm looking forward to 65,000 lines of dialogue and many more quests and depth to the characters.

I'm looking forward to transferring my mod into FNV and build onto it for another year in the new environment.

I'm really looking forward to the game itself, it's going to be totally awesome. :fallout:

Desert armour+Riot shotgun= awseome

also the fact we might finally have a good, neutral story, I don′t know about you, but I found the whole "save the world!" or the other plots really didn′t fit a post apocalyptic setting.

It's more Fallout, which is awesome.

Plus, it's in the same vein as Fallout 3. Which was my favorite Fallout, and one of my favorite games to begin with.

(Before all the rage comes my way, Yes, I have plyed all of the Fallout games. Yes, I've played lots of other games. No, I don't think Beth ruined Fallout. Maybe that will cover some of the hate posts ahead of time.)

No, I go around and try to stimulate conversation in threads instead of reading the same boring [censored] over and over again. I mean, it gets boring reading about all of the complaints people had about Fallout 3, with most people repeating the same stuff in every thread. But, why are you trying to "poke holes" in what I am saying right now?

Also, I am not wrong. I stated Fallout 3 had mature content. It clearly does, or else it would have not gotten an M rating. Unless of course mutilated bodies, drug use, and strong language aren't there for mature audiences anymore, and are actually there for people under the age of 17 and the M rating is just for kicks.

I feel your conversation stimulating is very negative and borders on what some would call trolling. This thread is about why you want New Vegas - Not "You want it for the wrong reasons, you are wrong. Here is why it is good". This thread isnt an argument its supposed to be happy gush time.
