Yeah, not a joke. As far as needs mods go its about as detailed, realistic, and anol as they get. I was into weight lifting for a while, so nutrition was kind of a hobby of mine, so between that and user feedback the mod has grown to take a lot of stuff into account. It'll be interesting to see if having hunger/thirst/sleep as a part of vanilla FNV will increase interest in that type of mod (though most of the ones currently out there probably don't do much that won't already be a part of what comes with hardcoe mode.)

I just hope hardcoe mode adds legitimate features, unlike moving the difficulty slider bar in FO3. All that did was make you shoot 6 times more and use 6 times more stimpacks. It was also unrealistic - shooting someone 12 times in the head w/ a pistol and they barely get dazed)

Lulz.

You have to eat food and drink water and heal broken limbs and sleep when you get tired and scratch your butt when it itches. Or else you lose! Are you a bad enough dude to do this?

I think a lot of people might be a wee bit disappointed with hardcoe mode. There seems to be a lot of speculation and wild and fervent imagining what it will be like. But really how different will the game play be? So far what do we know; stimpaks heal you over time and everything has weight. That's probably gonna be it.

Yea I think peoples expectations of what hardcoe mode will offer are slightly ridiculous. I can only imagine how many threads will be made after release saying how hardcoe mode is a flop.

So the irony is that the character is soft-core. I mean, if you don't enable hardcoe mode that means your character: Don't need food, don't need sleep, don't even need agua....
