[RELEASE] MTUI

Post » Fri Feb 18, 2011 7:38 pm

I've tried to sort through the info in this thread to find out exactly what, how and where MTUI needs to be installed in FNV.

Can someone please take a moment and write up clear instructions? (I'm surprised the mod originator hasn't done so by now)

Thank you!

It is generally accepted that most mods should be extracted to this location: Steam\steamapps\common\fallout new vegas\Data, using a utility such as http://www.winzip.com/win/en/index.htm or http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=36901

Thank you, and generally that works, but not with this mod. I'll keep playing with it, thanks.

Solved. I copied the Menu and Textures folder into Data, then booted up the game. MTUI wasn't working. I Saved at that point, then shut down and loaded the game again. Now, MTUI is working!

Don't know why, but I'm not asking questions. Looks really good.

awesome mod. the UI in this game [censored], so this is the first thing i downloaded.

only problem i have is when using the XFO perk paths mod the descriptions don't fit in the text box correctly. The text continues outside the box, instead of there being a scroll bar.
